• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the information you authorize Apple to share.
• Baby Profile Data: Information you provide about your child, including name, date of birth, gender, and profile photos.
• Health & Growth Data: Weight, height, and head circumference measurements you enter to track your baby's growth.
• Feeding Data: Meal logs, food types, and feeding schedules you record.
• Milestone & Vaccine Data: Developmental milestone tracking and vaccination records you enter.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and improving our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• Display growth charts and percentile comparisons based on WHO data
• Send vaccination reminders and milestone notifications
• Enable family sharing features between authorized caregivers
• Improve and optimize the App experience
• Respond to customer support requests

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on cloud servers using industry-standard encryption. We use AWS infrastructure with encrypted databases and secure API connections. Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage (AWS S3) and are only accessible to authorized users of the baby's profile.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Family Members: When you invite caregivers to a baby's profile, they can access that baby's data based on their assigned role (owner, caregiver, viewer).
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (cloud hosting, push notifications) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.

5. Children's Privacy

Burpi is designed for parents and caregivers to track their children's development. The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All data is entered and managed by the parent or authorized caregiver.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and download your data at any time
• Correct or update your information within the App
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Revoke caregiver access to your baby's profile
• Opt out of non-essential notifications

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with:

• Apple HealthKit (with your explicit permission)
• Apple Push Notification Service (for reminders)
• Sign in with Apple / Google (for authentication)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
