Terms of Service

Welcome to Burpi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Burpi mobile application ("App") and related services provided by Burpi ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Burpi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Account Registration

To use Burpi, you must create an account using a valid email address or Sign in with Apple/Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Use of the App

Burpi is designed for parents and caregivers to:

• Track baby feeding, growth measurements, and health milestones
• Record vaccination schedules and receive reminders
• Share baby profiles with family members and caregivers
• View growth charts based on WHO percentile data

You agree to use the App only for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Burpi is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The growth charts, milestone checklists, and vaccine schedules provided in the App are for informational and tracking purposes only. They are based on WHO and standard pediatric guidelines but should not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your pediatrician or healthcare provider for medical decisions.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all data and content you submit to the App, including photos, measurements, and notes. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the App's services to you.

6. Family Sharing

When you invite other users to access a baby's profile, you grant them access based on the role you assign (owner, caregiver, viewer). You are responsible for managing access to your baby's profiles and can revoke access at any time.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Burpi may offer premium features through in-app subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the App's security
• Share access credentials with unauthorized parties
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App (scraping, bots, etc.)
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and content, is the intellectual property of Burpi and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we deem harmful to other users or the App. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings, which will permanently remove your data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burpi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
