Ingredients

Sweet Potato1 small
Peanut Butter1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1Start with a very small amount (1/4 teaspoon) and wait 2-3 days before offering a full portion. Watch for signs of allergic reaction.
  2. 2Peel and dice the sweet potato into small cubes.
  3. 3Steam or boil the sweet potato for 12-15 minutes until very soft.
  4. 4Mash the sweet potato and mix in 1/4 teaspoon of smooth peanut butter until well combined.
  5. 5Add breast milk or water to reach desired consistency. Serve warm.

Safety Notes

Choking Hazard: Sticky Foods

Nut butters should be spread thin, not served in globs. Marshmallows and large chunks of cheese are also choking hazards.
