A hearty congee topped with homemade pork floss and egg yolk, providing iron and protein. The soft, fluffy pork floss melts into the warm congee for easy eating.

Ingredients

Congee1 bowl (200g)
Pork Floss1 tbsp
Egg1 yolk only

Instructions

  1. 1Prepare 1 bowl (about 200g) of soft congee.
  2. 2Hard-boil 1 egg, then separate and mash the yolk until fine.
  3. 3Stir the mashed egg yolk into the warm congee until evenly mixed.
  4. 4Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of pork floss on top and gently fold in.
  5. 5Serve warm. Ensure there are no large lumps.

Cook Eggs Thoroughly

Eggs must be fully cooked (no runny yolks or whites) when served to infants and young children to prevent Salmonella infection.
