Japanese-inspired rice balls with omega-3 rich salmon and protein-packed edamame. Fun finger food that toddlers love to hold and eat.

Ingredients

Salmon50g fillet
Rice3 tbsp
Edamame2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1Cook 50g salmon fillet by steaming for 8 minutes. Flake and check for bones.
  2. 2Cook 3 tablespoons of rice until very soft.
  3. 3Steam 2 tablespoons of edamame until soft (5 minutes). Remove shells and mash lightly.
  4. 4Mix rice, salmon, and edamame together.
  5. 5Form into small balls using wet hands. Serve at room temperature.
  6. 6Great for self-feeding practice and packed with omega-3 and plant protein.

Safety Notes

Check Fish for Bones

Carefully check all fish for bones before serving to infants and young children. Even "boneless" fillets may contain small pin bones.
