Soft, chewy mugwort rice cake bites made with fresh ssuk and glutinous rice. A traditional Korean treat adapted for baby-safe texture.

Ingredients

Ssuk (Mugwort)10g
Glutinous Rice1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. 1Blanch 10g fresh ssuk in boiling water for 1 minute, drain and chop very finely.
  2. 2Soak 1/4 cup glutinous rice for 30 minutes, then drain and grind into a coarse paste.
  3. 3Mix chopped ssuk into the rice paste until evenly green.
  4. 4Form into small, flat bite-size pieces and steam for 15-18 minutes until cooked through.
  5. 5Cool slightly and serve as soft finger food.
