Tender pork shreds with soft Chinese yam and carrot, gently stir-fried in sesame oil. A balanced meal providing protein, complex carbohydrates, and beta-carotene for growing babies.

Ingredients

Chinese Yam100g
Pork50g
Sesame Oil1 tsp
Carrot1 small

Instructions

  1. 1Cut 50g pork into very thin, short shreds.
  2. 2Peel 100g Chinese yam and cut into thin matchstick pieces.
  3. 3Peel 1 small carrot and cut into thin matchstick pieces.
  4. 4Steam or blanch yam and carrot for 6-8 minutes until very tender.
  5. 5Heat 1 tsp sesame oil in a pan over low heat.
  6. 6Add pork shreds and cook gently for 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  7. 7Add steamed yam and carrot, toss gently for 1-2 minutes.
  8. 8Let cool slightly. Ensure all pieces are soft enough for baby to manage safely.
