Nutritious finger food bites made with tuna, avocado, rice, nori, a nutritious meal for growing toddlers.

Ingredients

Tuna30g canned
Avocado1/4
Rice1/2 cup cooked
Nori1 small sheet

Instructions

  1. 1Drain canned tuna and flake finely.
  2. 2Mash avocado and mix with tuna and rice.
  3. 3Form into small balls with wet hands.
  4. 4Wrap each ball with a strip of nori.

Safety Notes

Tuna: Limit Portions

Albacore (white) tuna has moderate mercury levels. Limit to 1 serving per week for young children. Light canned tuna is a lower-mercury alternative.

Check Fish for Bones

Carefully check all fish for bones before serving to infants and young children. Even "boneless" fillets may contain small pin bones.
